Fire Alarm Technician – Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems under the Variex brand. The role involves working closely with site engineers and ensuring all fire safety systems function efficiently as per industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems at project sites
  • Routine maintenance and inspection of fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site
  • Assisting the Site Engineer in project execution and reporting
  • Conducting system testing and ensuring compliance with safety norms
  • Coordinating with clients for service visits and issue resolution
  • Maintaining service reports and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and safety equipment
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts
  • Hands-on experience in installation and servicing (preferred)
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills

Experience

  • 0–2 years (Freshers with technical training can apply)

  • Ability to work under site conditions

Preferred

  • Experience in fire safety systems (Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting systems)
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance
