ITI Welder/Fitter – Fire Safety Project
VariEx, a brand of Varistor Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is hiring skilled and hardworking ITI Welder/Fitters for ongoing fire safety and sprinkler system projects across Bengaluru. The role involves working on commercial, industrial, and residential fire protection projects where precision welding and pipe fitting are essential for safe and efficient system installation. Candidates will get practical exposure to real-time project execution, installation standards, and coordination with experienced site engineers and supervisors.
The candidate will be responsible for welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, and installation activities related to fire protection systems. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in MS pipe welding, sprinkler line installation, and site-based fabrication work. The selected candidates should be capable of handling installation tools, performing accurate alignment work, and ensuring proper pipe connections as per project requirements. Candidates with basic knowledge of fire safety systems, fabrication techniques, and construction site work will be given preference. Freshers with ITI qualifications and willingness to learn can also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pipe welding and fitting work for fire sprinkler systems.
- Install and assemble MS/GI pipes, supports, clamps, and fittings.
- Read basic fabrication drawings and execute site work accordingly.
- Carry out cutting, grinding, threading, and alignment of pipes.
- Assist site engineers and supervisors in project execution.
- Ensure proper safety standards and quality during installation work.
- Handle maintenance and repair work when required at project sites.
Requirements:
- ITI certification in Welder/Fitter or relevant trade.
- Basic experience in welding and pipe fitting preferred.
- Knowledge of fire safety system installation is an added advantage.
- Ability to work at project sites in Bengaluru.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a team environment.
