Position Summary:

The Sales & Design Engineer is responsible for combining technical engineering expertise with sales skills to develop customized solutions for clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing technical designs, generating proposals, and supporting the sales process from inquiry to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical & Design Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements, specifications, and project documents.
• Prepare system designs, layouts, calculations, and technical drawings.
• Develop cost estimates and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
  

2. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Participate in tender submissions and bid evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms within approved limits.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5+ years of experience in Tender Management.
• Experience with AutoCAD or relevant design software.
• Knowledge of tendering and contract processes.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
